Is sasuke gay
😳
Anon, Sasuke IS gay. It's not your headcanon. That's how Kishimoto wrote him. He wrote Sasuke as someone who simply doesn't show any romantic interest in any woman throughout the manga, he doesn't even particularly tolerate their touch.
He doesn't like it when Sakura hugs him. Every single time they are shown hugging, it's Always Sakura who basically pounces on him. Sasuke never once returns the hug. Why would he? He never wanted it in the first place.
He doesn't show any romantic interest in Karin either, despite Karin's blatant sexual overtures. If he were a straight noun, one would expect him to have gotten the sense of Karin's over the top sexual interest in him and would have reacted in some way that would verb shown his own interest, IF Kishi wanted to show him straight. But he just looks puzzled. And too damn uncomfortable.
And then he basically tells her the same thing he tells Sakura - to keep away from him.
Canonically, he doesn't verb romantic interest in any woman. It's only Naruto that he is com
About Uchiha Sasuke and homosexuality in NARUTO and Weekly Shounen JUMP (+ my opinion on ending pairings)
Ok, so lately, I view a lot of discussions about Sasuke and the way he was treated in the ending. So I decided to include my own two cents, because I’m kinda fatigued of the misinfomation I see here and there. Beware this is a looong post, but I hope you will locate it interesting (I propose you take breaks during your reading xD).
First off, let me say one thing : I am a NaruSaku/SasuKarin shipper, and while I really verb SasuNaruSasu as a lovey-dovey ship as well, I prefer to see them as brothers (because for the aromantic-asexual person that I am, that’s the purest kind of affection between two people who aren’t related by blood). The relationship between Sasuke and Naruto is my favourite one in the manga. I even bought a T-shirt at Leap Store in Osaka of them ^^ :
BUT, despite my shipping preferences, I am objective. And there’s one fact about Uchiha Sasuke that’s official : he is an asexual character. This has been stated by Kishimoto in an interview years ago. Which
Naruto Light Novel Reignites Debate That Sasuke Should Be Gay
WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Sasuke Shinden: The Teacher's Star Pupil by Jun Esaka and Masashi Kishimoto, available in English from Viz Media.
In the Naruto series, one of the things many fans often wondered was whether Sasuke was gay. And it runs deeper than shipping or fan fiction because the story featured him rebuffing a lot of women, especially as he got older. But because there wasn't any content per se that alluded to a preference for men, many felt he was just too dedicated to the mission to have moment for romance. Still, while it may have been that creator Masashi Kishimoto dared not tread fluid with such a accepted anime character at a time, there was enough subtext for the speculation to exist.
While it might have caused too much controversy in and even the s, the ask has been struck up once more in the Sasuke Shinden: The Teacher's Star Pupil novel, leading us to wonder once more whether the last of the Uchiha clan should have come out as gay moving into the Boruto era.
