Gay places in phuket
Phukets gay nightlife scene is concentrated in a compact area of Patong known as the Paradise Complex. This is a vibrant enclave of gay businesses in front of the Royal Paradise Hotel, just off Rat-U-Thit Road. As well as bars and discos, the area also features restaurants, Internet cafs, saunas and some accommodation.
The Boat Bar, a disco offering nightly cabaret shows and an outside terrace bar, is probably the most popular and well-known of the venues here. Another long-standing favourite is My Way. This stylish gay go-go also puts on a lively cabaret performance every night.
There are only a couple of gay venues in Patong to be found outside of the Paradise Complex: E-san La-prao and Maeng Cup, both tucked away down a small street at the southern end of Patong. Both are local style gay karaoke bars and are open very slow.
