Brightons legendary men-only cruise bar. Our events at this venue are always rammed, so be sure to reach early to avoid a queue.
Lockers are available to stow your stuff for a small fee, and there is a separate coat check. There are two dark rooms and plenty of intimate corners. Theres no dress code, so wear whatever you like if anything!
This venue has the identical street address as Affinity Bar, but is below ground. Its entrance (shown above) is on Steine Street, just off St. James’s Street (behind the Sussex Beacon shop).

Brighton is one of the most popular cities in the UK for gay travellers, known as the gay capital of the South (rivalling London) so it’s no surprise that there are many incredible gay bars in Brighton to choose from!
Whether you prefer a gay pub, gay bar, gay club or gay cruising club, Brighton has something for everyone.

Its politics are left, its people are fabulous, and its nightlife is a lot of fun.
Even its iconic pier stretches out into the waves like an open invitation to all. Seagulls soar over the perpetually windy seafront, where gay couples sit on pebble-strewn beaches, huddled together as they romantically tuck into a bag of England’s trademark fish and chips; strolling through the city’s winding streets will take you past vintage shops, hipster cafes, lively bars, and cozy English pubs, where old-school British drag queens hold court for a crowd of LGBTQ+ folk and their straight allies, enjoying a pint—or six!
Brighton has a timeless magic to it: it’s a place where vintage glamour meets vibrant, modern queer culture, and everyone is invited to be
