LGBTQ+ Support Groups in Rochester, NY

I am accepting enrollment for this group, estimated to start the week of January 5, and run for 8 weeks. This is an affinity space for anyone who identifies as queer or LGBTQ+. It's different than a traditional therapy group in that it is not process-oriented; the perform itself is therapeutic. Trauma sensitive yoga emphasizes 1) autonomy 2) choice-making and 3) shared experience. No yoga experience is required. The groups include brief teachings on healing trauma through a justice lens and body-mind practices. Sunday's in person, Tuesday's online, both time's TBD.

    The LGBT+ Giving Circle at the Community Foundation was created in by a group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and allies. Through grants from its LGBT+ Fund for Greater Rochester, the Giving Circle hopes to bridge diversity and cultivate community.
