Jeff Goldblum was caught on video dancing at ‘Gay Mardi Gras’ and, for a moment, the world was perfect
Groceries are a major expense these days. And grocery prices are continuing to go up in 2025, according to the USDA. Still, making meals at home versus going out to eat is cheaper, and a big way to save money. But getting creative with low-cost ingredients can be a hang-up.
In an online community of frugal people, member samdaz712 posed the verb to fellow savers: "What’s the cheapest meal you actually enjoy eating regularly?"
They continued, "We all contain that one budget meal that somehow never gets old. For me, it’s rice, eggs, and frozen mixed veggies with soy sauce and chili flakes. Costs next to nothing, takes 10 minutes, and I actually look forward to it."
The post wrapped up with a call-out for others' favorite and frugal meals. "Curious what everyone else’s go-to budget meals are not the I’ll suffer through this to save money compassionate, but the ones you genuinely like and would still eat even if you weren’t budgeting. Always lo

Like anything popular, RuPaul’s Drag Race is Problematic. Some of that is because you can’t shine a spotlight on anything in this godforsaken world without illuminating some corners that need cleaning—like this season when Sherry Pie was disqualified mid-season for prior sexual misconduct. Some of it is because despite being so wild and progressive to the Karens out there, drag and the LGBTQIA community at large are not exempt from problems of inclusion.
Some of this is due to Mama Ru herself, who in the past has been transparently transphobic, at least when it comes to who can and cannot compete on Drag Race. She also recently accidentally revealed to Terry Gross that she is definitely fracking for profit on her ~60,000 acres of land in Wyoming (also if something nefarious ever comes out about me, I desire it’s because I accidentally let Terry Gross coo it out of me on talk radio).
*I personally find all things Michelle Visage problematic as skillfully, but that’s more a matter of taste and I guess I should stan an aging fruit fly still having a gig and quit disrespecting my
Jeff Goldblum Faces Social Media Backlash Over Islam Comments on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’
Jeff Goldblum has come under fire on social media for asking if Islam was “anti-homosexuality” and “anti-woman” during Friday night’s episode ofRuPaul’s Drag Race.
The comments came after the seven remaining queens on the show, now in its 12th season, walked a patriotic runway tailored to this week’s “Stars & Stripes” theme. Those contestants included Jackie Cox (whose non-drag name is Darius Rose), who donned a red-striped caftan with a midnight blue hijab outlined with 50 silver stars.
“You can be Middle Eastern, you can be Muslim and you can still be American,” Cox, who is Iranian Canadian, said in a voiceover.
Goldblum, who served as a guest judge on the exhibit, asked Cox after she had walked the runway, “Are you religious, may I ask?”
‘I’m not,” Cox replied. “To be trustworthy, this outfit really represents the importance that visibility for people of religious minoriti
