Donor-Friendly Funeral Homes
Iowa Donor Network could not achieve its mission of transforming lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation without the assistance of funeral homes. The role receiving funeral homes play in the donation process is immeasurable and we appreciate all they do to support donor families following their loved one’s gift of donation.
Iowa Donor Network established the Donor Friendly Funeral Home Program to recognize Iowa funeral homes that have taken a proactive approach toward donation by either: making a referral, hosting a donation related education, flying the Donate Life flag or going above and beyond to assist in the donation process. The funeral homes listed below hold met the established criteria and are considered a Donor Friendly Funeral Home.

His high school class received a tour from the lead funeral director of the establishment, George L. Gay. Ciha said his teacher called Gay the next day, who then interviewed Ciha and lined him up for a summer job.
