Gay movies on peacock
Ahh, Peacock — the last in a long line of streaming services to appear and make us all wonder, do we need this? Well, you should know that surprisingly enough, Peacocks slate of original content is extremely lesbian-inclusive — Peacock has queer characters in nearly all of its original and co-produced TV shows and movies. However, these shows rarely get a second or third season pickup. Sad! Anyhow, lets dig into the best Peacock shows with lesbian, bisexual or queer women characters or trans people!
Queer as Folk
Peacock Drama,
Unlike the deeply white, cis and able-bodied original characters, all of the new QAF’s mains are people of color or trans or disabled or all of the above, including Char, a non-binary Black masculine-presenting person and their partner, Ruthie, a trans gal who’d grown up with the series’ star, gay party boy Brodie. Queer as Folk gave us groundbreaking and incredibly hot sex, a Craft-inspired drag show, a sex party catered towards people with disabilities and a joyful portrait of chosen family coming together in the face of sha
The 21 Best LGBTQ Movies and TV on Peacock: Her Story, We Are Lady Parts, and More
From stories about harrowing queer experiences (“The Miseducation of Cameron Post”) to films that are themselves harrowing queer experiences (hello, We Are Lady Parts), Peacock has a decent LGBTQ but with more queer storylines than queer shows.
Peacocks selection of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer-inclusive movies and TV shows is not nearly as robust as the other catalogues on competing services, Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video. And its an even further cry from the plethora of original gay content at HBO, which is still the only competitor in the streaming wars brandishing a critically acclaimed comedy about gay pirates.
But at least a handful of the LGBTQ stories currently on hand on Peacock are fine enough to consider visiting the service for that purpose, even if youre not usually there perusing its stockpile of middling NBC sitcoms. On the TV side, We Are Lady Parts stands out as a must-watch series about five women and their punk band.

Something to Consider About the Peacock Move
I’m seeing a lot of negativity about “Days,” current storylines and characters, and just have to declare, it may be day to consider something: just because the show is radically changing, that doesn’t mean its quality has gone downhill, and in fact these changes may benefit the show on Peacock.
Does anyone want to watch a traditional soap in ? (Read: Gen Z or anyone who can actually carry the show through the years) I’d wager that audience is anemic. But we all have different tastes; variety is the spice of life and it’s what keeps things curious in this world.
For instance, I’m Y&R and B&B bore me to tears. I respect their position in the industry, and that B&B has a huge fanbase worldwide, but I just can’t acquire into these shows. And I honestly don’t grasp how regular fans monitor these shows. I’ve always been an NBC and ABC Daytime fan. Both have a certain quality to them that makes them easily watchable.
That said, I’m not Alex’s biggest fan, but really don’t see what the adj deal is, for those going on and on about
